My mother in law is suffering from a wound on her leg that is not healing. It is spreading downwards. What should we do?

She has consulted one or two doctors and was given medicine including antibiotics and pain killers. It has worsened from a small scratch to a much bigger wound in three months.

I would advise your mother-in-law to seek out a wound care specialist who can perform a proper exam and do the proper diagnostic tests. They can also employ the latest wound care methods, and she may also require hyperbaric oxygen to get the wound to heal, especially if it has been there for longer than 30 days.

My mother is bedridden. She now has a sore at the top of her tail bone. I keep it clean with biotin and an antibacterial liquid soap, apply neosporin, and cover it with gauze/bandage. What else can I do? Should she lay on her stomach for it to heal? Please advise.
