How many times can you safely have your veins done in the same leg?
This is a difficult question to answer. If you have proven reflux, then it can usually be easily treated with a laser and this can be done multiple times. If you need recurrent surgery, then the risks of surgery have to be weighed against the risk of leaving things alone. I would recommend seeing a vein specialist for a thorough pre-op evaluation to try to find the source of the recurring veins.

There is no limit to the number of treatments or procedures which may benefit varicose veins in one leg.
Remember this condition is progressive and new varicose are predictably form as time goes on. We have learned that with our current minimally invasive approach, repetitive treatment as veins develop is superior to fewer invasive procedures.
